The Dedicated Run
During my own personal goal of running 12 half marathons in 12 months I found myself at Kevin’s beloved Notre Dame for the Sunburst Half Marathon. Preparing for the race I told my daughters (one of whom has had Ann as a teacher) to keep Kevin and his family in their hearts.
They encouraged me to dedicate the race to Kevin. So, I did for all to see. I cried at the beginning of the race, asked for strength at mile 11 and cried some more.
The back of my shirt said, “He fought like a Champion!
